Which vendors will be present at the Festival?

In-Person Festival

What are the dates of the person Festival?

The in-person Festival will be taking place from Friday, October 11 to Monday, October 14, at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Do I need to have a ticket to attend?

  • You do not require a ticket to attend, but you may purchase on in advance to avoid line-ups at the admission gate!
  • Walk-ins are welcome, and admission can be paid with credit, debit and cash – but we recommend you save your cash for cash-only vendors!
  • Advanced admission is available through our website at thanksgivingfestival.ca
    • Proof of purchase will be required at the time of check-in at the Festival. Please arrive together with your group at the admission gate.

What are the terms and conditions when purchasing admission tickets in advance?

  • All visitors must follow local and provincial public health guidelines
  • The admission gate attendant will ensure numbers in the party on registration match the participants present.
  • Tickets are 100% non-refundable / non-transferable
  • The NPCA reserves the right to cancel park visits due to adverse conditions.

Will you be accepting walk-ins?

Yes, tickets can be purchased online and also at the gatehouse upon arrival, however we encourage guests to purchase in advance to avoid disappointment. Parking is limited, so please plan accordingly, and carpool if you can! If our parking lot reaches capacity, it will close briefly until we have spaces to accommodate new arrivals. Pre-purchased tickets does not provide priority parking access, but will allow for a faster pass through the Admissions gate.

I purchased tickets for a group of people, how will check in work?

If you purchased for a group, please arrive at the admission gate together to check-in. Guests will be able to park separately, meet with their group, and check-in at the admission gate together to streamline arrival and admission.

Is the festival rain or shine?

Yes, the Festival is rain or shine! If it rains, tents will be set up, so that food, drink, and market vendors are still available for the enjoyment of our guests.

Will there be parking available?

  • Yes, there will be! Parking is included with your admission fee.
  • The main Festival parking entrance is accessed from 7th Avenue, Lincoln, ON.
  • For visitors with Accessible parking permits or accommodations, our accessible parking lot is located at the Centre for Conservation at 3292 Sixth Avenue, accessed from Victoria Ave.
    • Please present your accessible parking permit to the traffic controller to gain entry to the parking area.

Will the Festival be accessible?

  • The main festival grounds are generally firm and flat, consisting of gravel and grass, but there are some sloped sections. Pathways into the event area are sloped, but accessible switchback trails are available, and accessible parking is provided.

Will there be accessible parking?

Yes, visitors with a valid Ontario Accessible Parking Permit will be able to park in the accessible parking lot, accessed from 6th Avenue at Victoria Avenue, Lincoln, ON.

Is this a family-friendly event?

Yes, guests of all ages are welcome at the Festival! Children’s entertainment will be provided through the event, included on the main stage and in the heritage village!

Are dogs allowed?

Pets are not permitted at the Ball’s Falls Festival, with the exception of valid service animals.

Will there be restrooms?

Permanent restrooms and portable restrooms will be available for guests to use. There are accessible restroom facilities on site.

Will there be food and beverage vendors?

Yes! There will be a diverse and delicious line-up of local food and beverage providers at the Festival.

Will there be gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options?

There will be several gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options to choose from.

Can I reserve a picnic area for my family at the festival?

Unfortunately, picnic benches and seating cannot be reserved in advance.

What vendors will be at the Festival this year?

Will there be First Aid on site?

Yes, dedicated event medics will be onsite through the duration of the Festival.

What else is there to do at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area?​
